If you have consented to data processing, we process your personal data on the basis of art. 6 (1)(a) GDPR or art. 9 (2)(a) GDPR, if special categories of data are processed according to art. 9 (1) GDPR. In the case of explicit consent to the transfer of personal data to third countries, the data processing is also based on art. 49 (1)(a) GDPR. If you have consented to the storage of cookies or to the access to information in your end device (e.g., via device fingerprinting), the data processing is additionally based on §25 (1) TTDSG (Act regulating data protection and privacy in telecommunications and telemedia). WISLaw wishes to point out that by visiting this website information about the access (date, time, page viewed) can be stored. This data does not belong to the personal data but is anonymised. They are evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes. A transfer to third parties, for commercial or non-commercial purposes, does not take place.
Since the transmission of data via the internet may be prone to security gaps, it cannot be ruled out that data transmitted by website visitors may be read and possibly falsified by unauthorised third parties. The transmission of messages, documents and other information or data by e-mail is therefore considered less reliable, secure and confidential than the transmission by postal mail.
If WISLaw is contacted by e-mail, this will be understood as agreement to continue to communicate by e-mail in the absence of express agreements to the contrary. Although incoming e-mails are checked regularly, there is no guarantee that they will be processed in a timely manner.
WISLaw therefore recommends sending time-critical or important messages by postal mail or courier service. The sending of e-mails does not have any effect on the compliance with deadlines. If you want to be sure that your e-mail has been received correctly, please request confirmation of receipt from the addressee.
Applicable law and jurisdiction: The relationship between WISLaw and the visitors in connection with the use of this website is governed exclusively by Swiss law.
