Membership info

As per Art. 4 of the WISLaw Statutes, membership is open to all women with an interest in sports law who wish to contribute to the realisation of the goals of the Association.

Membership fee is CHF 100.- per year (students / low income: CHF 40.-). You can either pay your membership through bank transfer or online.

As a WISLaw member, you participate in our international network of women active in sports law and are welcome at our events and meetings (around the world and virtually). You also benefit from our platform and initiatives reserved to our members (eg. blog).

Our members benefit from:

  • Facilitated introductions to others in the sector
  • The ability to join our Committees and Board
  • Networking events throughout the year, some of which include a Swiss Alp Weekend, Holiday Happy Hours, breakfast discussions, and an annual conference.

  • Negotiated discounted rates for tuition fees at higher education establishments in sports law and conferences.
  • The ability to request contribution to professional development costs from a designated fund being created to support those who wish to further their qualifications or attend conferences abroad.

  • When considering arbitrators, speakers or lecturers, make use of our searchable online database to facilitate gender balance.
  • Consider hosting a WISLaw event at your firm or organisation.
