We had a very interesting lunch talk with Rebecca Caplehorn who is the Director of Football at Tottenham and one of the most senior women working on the football side of the business in England.
Stefania Lobina & Liz Ellen from Mishcon de Reya gave an overview on the legislation introduced in Italy to combat what they see as the problem with agents. They then explained what is happening in the UK regarding the reviews that the PL and EFL are doing into agents.
We also had a more general discussion on the FIFA perspective with respect to agents, and talked about some of the main problem areas in agency, being dual representation and TPO.
