With a background in sports competitions and a love for sports due to their power to bond people and share emotions, I joined the sporting world after completing my law studies. Throughout my career, I had the opportunity to join sports organizations at their inception or when development was needed: the UCI right after the Festina case, WADA in its early days when it moved to Montreal, and then UEFA when the anti-doping unit and committee were being set up to comply with the World Anti-Doping Code requirements. At UEFA, I evolved by taking up different leadership positions where creativity and law could combine.
