Kathy Dufour completed her law degree at the University of Ottawa, Canada and began her professional training at the École du Barreau of Québec in September 2024-2025. During this time, she is also working as a Case Manager at Sport Dispute Resolution Centre of Canada (SDRCC). Kathy will be articling at Lavery Québec in 2026.
Before law school, Kathy completed a master's degree (FIFA Master) in sports management and a graduate diploma in project management. Kathy has over 10 years of experience working with provincial, national and international sports organizations in several countries. Kathy was also an elite cycling athlete and a varsity athlete for the golf and cross-country ski teams.
During her studies, she was involved with the National Student Pro Bono Students Canada Program and numerous student associations, such as the Sports and Entertainment Law Association. She also participated in the 88th session of the UN Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW) in Geneva.
