Annett Rombach, founder of Rombach Lawyers, has more than 15 years of experience as counsel an arbitrator in sports and commercial arbitrations. She has represented, among others, the German Football League (DFL) in major commercial arbitrations regarding the TV rights for the German Bundesliga. As an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) and the Basketball Arbitral Tribunal (BAT), she has served in more than 300 arbitrations and contributed to landmark decisions in sports law, e.g. most recently on maternity protection in professional football. In 2026, she served as a member of the CAS ad hoc Division at the Milano Cortina Olympic Winter Games. Annett is a member of the board of WISLaw.
