Sihon
Gauci Gonzalez

Sihon graduated from the University of Malta in 2011 with a doctoral degree in Law. She went on to work for the Ministry of Education for a number of years, where she gained invaluable experience in legal compliance, enforcement as well as policy and legal drafting.

Sihon worked with the Malta Football Players Association on a voluntary basis for a while and helped found the players' union in her country. She later served as an Arbitrator on the National Dispute Resolution Chamber, before joining the Malta Football Players Association on a full-time basis, heading the Legal and Public Relations departments.

Today, Sihon serves as the first woman on the Malta Football Players Association Executive Board, pushing for an inclusive agenda in an industry which sometimes leaves women lagging behind.

She is also a Judge on the FIFA Dispute Resolution Chamber (the first from her nation), as well as an arbitrator on the FIFPro Dispute Resolution Chamber.
